Born 2 weeks premature in the heat of a late summer Luna Jo Rose weighed in at a little over 12 lbs. She was our very first female cria to be born at our ranch in Sept. 2005. She is our miracle. We had to house her in our basement during the sweltering days of 105 degree weather. She received around the clock feedings for the first week of her life. Her mom Rosalee did not like being inside and had to be walked every 2 hrs. Now at 107lbs and bred to Solar Flare, this medium Rose Grey girl is an escape artist, she can open treat jarsand barn doors and is an eating machine, not suprising as she is expecting her first cria Oct 07. |
